超细玻璃纤维属于玻璃纤维中的一个类型，是一种人造无机纤维。采用进口设备，美国工艺，选用以碎玻璃为主要原料，配合一些纯碱，硼砂等辅料，将熔融状态的玻璃用离心法吹成直径2.5—5μm棉絮 状的玻璃微纤维，俗称玻璃棉，纤维与纤维间立体交叉缠绕，具有大量的内外连通的微小孔隙和孔洞， 因此被视为多孔材料，具有体质轻、导热系数低、热绝缘和吸声性能好、不燃、耐腐蚀、无毒、不怕虫蛀、不刺皮肤、憎水率高，并具有良好的化学稳定性等优点，是生产密封铅酸蓄电池玻璃纤维吸附性隔板、滤纸、保温纸的理想材料、也是 VIP（真空保温板）的首选材料。是目前公认性能优越的保温、消音、隔热的理想材料。

It is the ideal material for producing glass fiber adsorptive separator, filter paper and insulation paper for sealed lead-acid batteries, and also the preferred material for VIP (vacuum insulation board). At present, it is recognized as an ideal material for thermal insulation, muffling and heat insulation with superior performance.
